In Spanish, the conditional tense is a simple tense: it consists of ONE word. I. Formation of the Conditional Tense. For most verbs, the infinitive is the conditional stem. The conditional tense endings are attached to the infinitive (Just like with the future tense). NOTE! The conditional endings are the same for ALL verbs, regular and irregular.

NOTE!The conditional endings are the same as the IMPERFECT endings for –ER and –IR verbs. A. The Conditional tense endings are: Ellos / Ellas / Uds ían Vosotros íais Nosotros íamos Él / Ella / Ud. ía Tú ías Yo infinitive ía
