Stem Changers: Definition Stem-changers do exactly what their name tells you- they change their stems! 1 letter will become 1 or 2 letters All stem change verbs make a BOOT
Stem-Changers are often called “boot” verbs. This is because there is a stem-change in all forms EXCEPT nosotros, thus making the shape of a boot!

Biggest Mistake Don’t get so worried about stem-changing that they forget about the ending! Check if it is an –ar,-er, or –ir verb, be sure to attach the right endings! BE CAREFUL!
