The present perfect tense is used to express what has been done. It is formed by taking the present tense form of the verb haber and using it as a helping verb with the past participle  Ejemplo: Hemos ido al mercado para comprar limones. We have gone to the market to buy lemons. In this construction, the past participle is part of the verb and does not agree with the subject
