Reason for Celebrating The celebration of his birthday is because he went all around the world teaching countries his education and educating them to know they have their basic rights. In 1898 he became very disappointed because the United States annexed Cuba from Spain, rather than granting them their independence. He died in 1903 and demanded that his remains be barred at his homeland after Cuba had independence. Now he has been resting in his homeland for 100 years and counting. Another reason he is important is by ending slavery.
The Celebration They hold a fiesta to honor him. It could also take up to ten days for this kind of celebration. They had fiestas to honor all historic people.
Would I participate? Me gustaría participar en esta celebración, porque si yo era un esclavo de Puerto Rico, yo sería un honor tener la libertad en ese periodo de tiempo. los civiles había reconocido la situación con la esclavitud. decidieron tomar las riendas y hacer algo al respecto, por lo que también peticiones a prohibir la esclavitud. todo esto ocurrió de un hombre, que fue un educador! que es una cosa muy grande para un hombre lograr. si un hombre puede hacer algo grande, entonces se puede imaginar lo que todos podemos hacer en su conjunto. es por eso que me gustaría participar en la celebración del cumpleaños de Hostos Eugenio.
