What happens after 30 minutes to the hour? When you want to tell the time after the 30 minute mark, you use the next hour and subtract the minutes For example: 4:45 - Son las cinco menos cuarto 5 Hours – 15 minutes = 4:45 8:50 - Son las nueve menos diez 9 Hours – 10 minutes = 8:50
