In this image, the stitches in white represent parts of the electromagnetic technology and the stitches in color represent features of the strings and knots of the Inca khipu. In this image there are 5 symbols and each one is suggestive of an energetic symbol that emits energy in the form of digits. These digits “might” convey “information” that can be interpreted as a form of digital language. At the center of this piece, a Khipu can be observed in relation to these symbols. This image was created in the needlepoint technique, using multicolored cotton threads over textured canvas to simulate archaeological excavations and findings. This image follows the ideas of the previous where the stitches in white, representing the technology, recede into the background and the stitches in color, representing the threads of the khipu, come forward. Energetic symbols are combined and merged with the multicolored knots and string of the khipu and at the center of the piece, a specific image of a completed and rolled khipu is suggested. This piece concludes the idea that suggests the parallels between the digital information with the intricate system of knots and strings of the Khipu. En esta imagen la “tecnologia” pasa a segundo plano representado por los bordados en blanco. Al centro y en primer plano se ve una imagen especifica de un khipu enrrollado y completo.
