Make sure you have a range of adjectives to use:- grande, pequeño, interesante, divertido, aburrido, bonito, feo, rápido, largo, corto, genial, fatal, increíble, bueno, malo, cómodo, sucio, limpio

OK – so what are intensifiers? To you and me that means “very, quite” etc. So when you use your adjectives – just whack in :- muy, bastante, un poco, demasiado (before the adjective...)

Yes, make sure your sentences are long; always link using:- Y, pero, también, aunque, sin embargo, no obstante, así que, por eso, luego, entonces, si, cuando… While you’re at it – don’t forget to use lots of time indicators:- Siempre, a veces, a menudo, normalmente, nunca, por la mañana, por la tarde, por la noche

Yes, make sure you always give plenty of opinions:- Pienso queI think that Creo queI believe that En mi opiniónIn my opinion Lo bueno es queThe good thing is that Lo malo es queThe bad thing is that Lo mejor es queThe best thing is that Lo peor es queThe worst thing is that

Always give a reason why you like or dislike something. In the present and in the past:- Me gusta porque No me gusta porque Odio Me gustaba porque No me gustaba porque Lo odiaba porque es= it is era= it was será = it will be sería = it would be

Try to get into the habit of trying to give extra details in every sentence! Before you write the full stop – think what else could I add – doesn´t have to be complicated – just adds a few more words and makes the sentences longer (and more complex!) Normalmente recibo diez libras a la semana pero la semana pasada recibí veinte libras de mi madre. Pienso que era genial recibir más.

T – Tenses A – Adjectives I – Intensifiers L – Linking words O – Opinions R – Reasons E D - Extra Details The perfect piece of writing!
