Se is used to express what is generally done. It does not refer to a specific person. El se impersonal Se habla español en México. Se comen hamburguesas aquí.

“Se habla español.” means: Translation  People speak Spanish.  One speaks Spanish.  They speak Spanish.  You speak Spanish.  We speak Spanish.  Spanish is spoken.

How do you form the construction? Look at these examples. Se come mole en México. Se comen hamburguesas aquí. Se estudia inglés en la escuela. Se estudian las ciencias también.
