Agreement Remember you must have agreement. The gender and number must match the noun to which they refer. We use algún and ningún when they come before a singular masculine noun. Example: No tengo ningún lápiz. ¿Tienes algún bolígrafo? You can also use alguno (s), alguna (s), ninguno(s) or ninguna (s) to replace a noun. It is common to use two negative words in a statement or answer.
