Affirmative and negative words
Affirmative words are used to say that something does exist or that it does happen. Negative words are used to say that something doesn’t exist or doesn’t happen. Alguno and ninguno are adjectives. Their endings must change to match the noun. Before masculine singular nouns alguno and ninguno change to algún and ningún

Yo siempre como el almuerzo. I always eat lunch. Yo nunca como el almuerzo. I never eat lunch. Alguna chica llega tarde cada día. Some girl arrives late every day. Algún chico va a dar un discurso hoy. Some guy is going to give a speech today . No tenemos ningunos materiales. We don't have any materials.
