Lo + un adjetivo Usamos la expresión para expresar una idea abstracta. The …. thing.

Por ejemplo… Lo bueno es que tuvimos éxito. The good thing is that we had success. Lo malo es que gastamos mucho dinero. The bad thing is that we spend lots of money.

Lo que + verbo Esta expresion está usado para expresar una idea (the thing that, what), como qué estaba dicho o hecho, que será definido en la misma oración. In short…it will mean…. –That which, the thing that, or what.

Por ejemplo: Ahora, lo que necesitamos hacer es entrenar. Now what we need to do is train. Hablemos de lo que me dijiste ayer. Let’s talk about what you told me yesterday.

Dos mas… Lo que me dijo Ana fue increíble. What Ana told me was incredible. Eso no es lo que hicimos la vez pasada. That is not what we did the last time.
