El verbo IR The verb IR means to go. The verb IR is irregular in the present tense.

El verbo IR Notice that the infinitive “IR” and its forms are drastically different. Therefore, the forms of IR must be memorized.

El verbo IR Also notice that the word “vamos” can mean several different things depending on punctuation. Vamos al cine. We are going to the cinema. ¿Vamos al cine? Shall we go to the cinema ¡Vamos al cine! Let’s go to the cinema.
