Used to talk about actions completed in the past. The Preterite Tense Used to talk about actions completed in the past. Ex: I walked to the park yesterday. We went to the store last week.

Forming Preterite “-er” & “-ir” Verb Endings To make the preterite forms of “-er” and “-ir” verbs, drop the infinitive endings and add the following in their place: Aprender (yo) aprendí (tu) aprendiste Ud. (el) aprendió (ella) (nosotros) aprendimos (nosotras) Uds. (ellos) aprendieron (ellas)
