GALATIANS 5:1-15

#1 Hold On to Your Freedom

Mantenga su libertad

#2 Be On Guard against That Which Destroys Freedom

There are two things that destroy freedom: Things that are added to the gospel and those who add them.

First, you need to understand the message of the gospel.

Second, study under good teachers and keep your Bible open. You want to make sure that verses are used in the context in which they were written.

Third, watch for some tell tale signs of false teachers.

#3 Freedom Is About Service Not Indulgence.

The Balance that Must Be Maintained. The first danger is to understand freedom as license to sin without consequence.

The second danger is to take the freedom of others by playing spiritual policeman.

What unnecessary rules and regulations do we as Christians tend to impose on one another? Why do people get attracted to religious rules at times?

How do we abuse our freedom in Christ? Finish the sentence: Ways in which I see myself changing are …

What can you do this week to serve someone with your freedom in Christ (v.13-14) that forces you to not think about yourself?

PRAYER OF THE WEEK Prayer of The Week: Dear Holy Spirit, I surrender to You. Today, I choose to die to my own passions and follow Your leading in every part of my life. AMEN

Querido Espíritu Santo, me rindo a Ti Querido Espíritu Santo, me rindo a Ti.
