El Superlativo “Absoluto” O, Cómo usar “-ísimo”

When you wish to intensify a quality or exaggerate it, you can do more than simply say, “muy. . .” Adverbs: ejemplos “Ella está muy enojada” Ella está enojadísima”

Más ejemplos: Este paisaje es muy bello. Este paisaje es bellísimo. Este paisaje es sumamente bello.

Más ejemplos: Ellos están muy enamorados. Ellos están locamente enamorados. Antonio y su hermano son muy tontos. Antonio y su hermano son tontísimos. Antonio y su hermano son increíblemente tontos.

En resumen: We can use (as alternatives to “muy”): -ísimo / ísimos / ísima / ísimas (notice that there are 4 endings) Adverbs such as: sumamente (highly) locamente (crazy/crazily) increíblemente (incredibly) absolutamente (absolutely) (just to name a few of the more common “intensifiers”)

Práctica: ¿Cómo se dice. . .? The Hulk is really strong. El Hulk es fuertísimo. El Hulk es increíblemente fuerte. El Hulk es sumamente fuerte. She is really gossipy. Ella es chismosísima. Ella es increíblemente chismosa.
