Possessive adjectives Showing Ownership

-Possessive adjectives show ownership of items or relationships between people. -Possessive adjectives are placed before the noun (person, place, thing, idea) ex: His brother. Their house.

A possessive adjective only refers to the OWNER; but because the possession word describes the “relationship” of the item, the adjective must match (masculine/feminine, singlar/plural) with the item being owned
