Estoy muy emocionada al tener estudiantes tan listos, respetuosos y amables este año. Estoy contenta por conocer a todos los padres el 6 de septiembre para la noche de regreso a la escuela. Es muy importante que los estudiantes hagan su tarea cada noche y devuelvan la tarea a clase. Favor de ayudar a su hija/o tener éxito en escuela con terminar su tarea cada día. Por favor revise y firme su planificador todos los días. I hope that everyone enjoyed their first week of school. I am very excited to have such great group of kind, respectful and eager students this year. I am looking forward to meeting all the parents at Back to School Night from 5:30 on Sept.6th. It is very important that your child complete her/his homework every night. Please help your child be successful in school by completing the homework and bringing it every day. De tarea ellos tienen que leer, matemáticas (2x semana), y unas palabras de ortografía. Ellos ya tienen que saberse las tablas de multiplicación, así que empiece a repasarlas unos minutos diarios. Ellos pueden jugar con las barajas o ir a la pagina de floweryschool.org para mas ideas de como practicar las tablas. Durante la hora de Lenguaje en Inglés estaremos empezando una unidad nueva Taking a Stand/Tomando una posición. This week we will be reviewing academic material. For homework, they have reading, math (2x a week), and spelling words. Students should already know their multiplication facts, so start reviewing them a few minutes per night. They can play with a deck of cards or go to floweryschool.org for resources to practice their facts. We will start the theme for our Language Arts program, Taking a Stand/Tomando una posición. Please use the planner to sign that they have read for at least 30 minutes each night. The signature is part of the HW, if it is missing then the student will not earn any credit for that assignment. You will find all the homework outlined on the student planner. Utilice el planificador para firmar que han leído por lo menos 30 minutos cada noche.
