What is a DIRECT OBJECT pronoun?

In linguistics, an object pronoun is a personal pronoun that is used typically as a grammatical object: the direct or indirect object of a verb, or the object of a preposition. (WHAT?????)

What is a direct object pronoun? What does the verb verb??? How can we figure out what the direct object pronoun is? Find the action word (verb) To WHAT or To WHO is the action happening? EXAMPLE: Do you want the hamburger? Yes, I want it. What is being WANTED? The HAMBURGER.

EXAMPLE: QUESTION: ¿Quieres la hamburguesa? ANSWER: Sí, la quiero.

EXAMPLE: QUESTION: ¿Comes el burrito? ANSWER: Sí, lo quiero.
