MORE adjective THAN LESS adjective THAN Older than / younger than Better than / worse than Ella es menos bonita que tú.

¿Recuerdas? You can also say that someone is the most or the least adjective: El/la/los/las + noun(s) + más/menos + adjective + de El/la/los/las + mejor(es) / peor(es) + noun + de Ejemplo: Celia cree que hacer gimnasia es la actividad más divertida de la escuela. Cecilia thinks that gymnastics is the most fun activity of the the school.

Making Comparisons To compare people or things that are equal to one another, you use: Example: En mi club, levantar pesas es tan popular como correr. In my club, lifting weights is as popular as running. Example: En mi escuela, las artes marciales son tan interesantes como los videojuegos. In my school, martial arts are as interesting as videogames. TAN + ADJECTIVE + COMO ~~~ AS + ADJECTIVE + AS

Making Comparisons To say as much as or as many as, you use: Example: Hay tantas actrices en el ensayo como actores. Hay tantos béisboles en el gimnasio como bates. TANTO,-A + NOUN + COMO ~~~~ AS MUCH + NOUN + AS TANTOS,-AS + NOUNS + COMO ~~~~ AS MANY + NOUNS + AS NOTE THAT TANTO AGREES IN GENDER AND NUMBER WITH WHAT IS BEING COMPARED.

SO REMEMBER!! When you see an ADJECTIVE… TAN goes before it. When you see a NOUN… TANTO/A goes before it. When you see a PLURAL NOUN… TANTOS/AS goes before it.
