PLUPERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE TO FORM YOU NEED: IMPERFECT SUBJUNCTIVE OF HABER + PAST PARTICIPLE (-ado o –ido or irregulars:roto, dicho, etc…) EXAMPLE: Cantar Yo hubiera cantado HABER: Hubiera hubiéramos Hubieras hubierais------------cantado Hubiera hubieran
Examples of Pluperfect subjunctive= Imperfect subjunctive of HABER + past participle Dudaba que él la hubiera visto. Si yo hubiera estudiado, habría pasado el examen. Note that the conditional perfect is used when the verb in the “if” clause is in the pluperfect subjunctive.
Conditional perfect: The conditional perfect is used to express what would have happened if certain conditions had been met. Use the conditional of HABER and the past participle. HABER +Past participle: Habría Habríamos Habrías Habríais + dormido Habrían Habrían Si ella hubiera apagado la luz, yo habría dormido.
Always Use the subjunctive after: A menos que en caso de que Antes(de) que para que Con tal(de) que sin que
If the action has not yet occurred, use the subjunctive after: Cuando siempre Después (de) que tan pronto como En cuanto así que Hasta que aunque Luego que de manera que Mientras que de modo que
