El futuro perfecto Español 4 Superior

El futuro perfecto Use the future perfect to indicate what will have happened by a certain time. Sometimes it is used to speculate about something that may have happened. Use future of “haber” + past participle. Irregular past participles still apply!

Ejemplo – “terminar” Yo habré terminado Tú habrás terminado El/ella/ud. habrá terminado Nosotros habremos terminado Vosotros habréis terminado Ellos/as/uds. habrán terminado

Ejemplos A esa hora, nosotros ya habremos salido. At that time, we will have already left. No sé si habré terminado. I don’t know if I will have finished (by then). Antes de 2020, María habrá visitado a Francia. Before 2020, Maria will have visited France.

“Dentro de + time” The future perfect is often used with “dentro de + time” to indicate a time frame. Dentro de cinco años, vosotros habréis graduado de la universidad. In five years, you all will have graduated from college.

Otras reglas Speculation: use the future perfect to talk about what may have happened in the past. Miguel no está aquí. ¿Qué le habrá pasado? Miguel is not here. What could have happened to him?
