Present perfect You can use the present perfect . . .
• to say what has or hasn’t happened in a period of time up to the present. No he viajado a Brasil este año. I haven’t traveled to Brazil this year. (the year hasn’t ended yet) • to talk about something that happened very recently. Dile al recepcionista que has perdido la llave del cuarto. Tell the receptionist that you’ve lost the key to the room.

Present perfect of pedir
To form the present perfect, use the present tense of the helping verb haber (to have) followed by the past participle of the main verb. The following is the present perfect of the verb pedir (to ask for). yo he pedido nosotros hemos pedido tú has pedido vosotros habéis pedido Ud., él, ella ha pedido Uds., ellos, ellas han pedido

Past participle of -er and -ir verbs
To form the past participle of -er and -ir verbs whose stem ends in -a, -e, or -o, add -ido. Han cerrado el aeropuerto porque ha caído mucho granizo. The past participle of the verb ir is ido. Nunca he ido a otro país, pero sí he leído muchas guías turísticas.

Reflexive and object pronouns go before the conjugated form of haber in the present perfect. stands for ¿Has firmado los cheques de viajero? Los has traído, ¿verdad?
