Red Ribbon at Vista del Sol Oct. 22-26, 2018 Dear Parents: Monday: “Be a JEAN-ious” Students and staff will wear all jean attire to show that you’re too smart for bullies and drugs. Begin brainstorming on how to carve your pumpkin! Pumpkins Due Wednesday.   Tuesday : “I’d Be Crazy To Do Drugs” Students and staff may wear crazy socks and hair. Next week we will be celebrating Red Ribbon Week. Please encourage your children to participate in the school-wide activities throughout the week. The theme will be “One School One Goal-Bully and Drug Free” Canned Food Drive sponsored by GT Eagles. Carved Pumpkin Contest Wednesday: “I Mustache You Not To Do Drugs” Students and staff will wear a silly mustache. Carve Drugs and Bullying out of School! Students will bring a carved pumpkin from home. Get creative! Please make sure your child’s name and your phone number is on the pumpkin. Pumpkins will be judged and returned on Friday. Thursday : Friday: “Be a Rock Star, Stay Drug Free” Students may rock out their attire and dress like a Rock Star!   “I’m Too Smart To Do Drugs” Everyone is encouraged to dress like your favorite nerd. Final Canned Food Pick Up will be November 09. – Winning Class will be announced. The class with the most cans will win an Ice Cream Party. Cans will be donated to families in our community.

Liston Rojo en Vista del Sol Oct. 22-26, 2018 Queridos Padres, Vista del Sol celebrará la semana de Listón Rojo la próxima semana. El Tema será “ Una Escuela, Una Meta - Libre de drogas e intimidación” Colecta de comida enlatada Concurso de esculpir una calabaza lunes: “Ser un Genio” Los estudiantes deberán vestir de mezclilla para demonstrar que ellos son muy inteligentes en no usar drogas. Empieza a pensar en como vas a esculpir tu calabaza y traerla en miercoles! martes: “Usar drogas es una locura” Los estudiantes podrán usar calcetines y cabello ‘alocado.’ .   miércoles: “I Mustache You Not To Do Drugs” Los alumnos podran usar un bigote. Concurso de esculpir una calabaza. Esculpir la calabaza en casa y entregarla hoy. El viernes se elegira la calabaza ganadora. jueves: ” Soy una estrella de rock y digo no a las droga y la intimidación” Los estudiantes podrán vestirse como su estrella de rock favorito.   viernes: “Soy demasiado inteligente para usar drogas” Los estudiantes traerán vestuario de “nerd.” El ultimo día para traer comida enlatada será el 9 de Noviembre que se donará a familias de nuestra comunidad. La clase con el mayor numero de latas, ganará un “helados.”
