CLASSROOM NEWS The Teacher’s Scoop! WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Week of April 10th-13th  sarah_crawford@iss.k12.nc.us Upcoming Events April 14th-23rd: Spring Break May 3rd: Early Release Day May 9th: Progress Reports The Teacher’s Scoop! Dear Parents, I hope everyone had a great weekend! This week we have been working on comparing numbers using a hundred chart, wrote about “Frogs,” practiced our handwriting, etc. Note: I will not be here Wednesday the 12th due to the Reading Training. I will also not be here Thursday the 13th. I hope everyone has a great Spring Break! What We Are Learning Next Week Spelling Words: waited, filled, climbed, needed, rested, played, folded, mailed, stayed, showed, of, wash, friend Sentences: 1. My friend showed me lots of maps. 2. Matt loaded all the wash by himself. There will not be a Spelling Test this week, but we will be practicing these words!  Reading: Daily 5: Writing about “How to Hunt for Eggs“, continuing Guided Reading Groups, Word Work, and Read to Self LetterLand: Syllables and understanding spoken words and sounds (phonemes) Math: Ksgiving WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK Star Student of the Week Snack Reminder Monday – Brooke Tuesday – Kelly Wednesday – Jennera Thursday – Lily Friday – No School On your child’s snack day, please send enough snacks for 21 students. Remember, the entire class depends on your child to bring snack! 

The story was about a baby bunny. 2.
