PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (I) VIDA: Design & Development of an accessible domotic device for houses where ageing people and people with different kinds of disability live. Result: Intelligent Supervisory System to control the domotic equipment in an accessible home. SOPRANO (starting Jan. 2007): Service oriented programmable smart environments for older Europeans (IP from IST-AAL call of FP6). Development of context-aware, smart environment services with natural and comfortable interfaces for elderly people and everyone at affordable cost. COMPORTA: Design and development of a portable accessible communication system for people with severe motor impairment.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT (II) “BLUETYPE” BRAILLE KEYBOARD: New Bluetooth Braille Keyboard for blind people. Communication link via: Bluetooth, USB, IRDA, RS232. DISPLAYER (under development): Portable System for Reading Display Panels. Enables blind people, and even those partially sighted to read different information screens (display panels), very common on domestic appliances and everyday household equipment. Useful and affordable tool for blind and people with visual disabilities. 4th ONCE International R&D Award in New Technologies for The Blind and Visually Impaired

Mi nombre es Antonio Bardasco y soy el Director del Márketing. Seguidamente, voy a realizarles una presentación de ROBOTIKER que va a estar dividida en dos partes: Primero, vamos a mostrarles un vídeo que hemos preparado con motivo de nuestro decimoquinto aniversario y donde pueden ver la evolución que hemos tenido en este período. Desde que nacimos con el objetivo de ayudar a nuestras empresas a competir mejor en un entorno de Economía Industrial, hasta la actualidad, donde nuestro reto es seguir innovando en lo que ya se denomina la Sociedad Digital. Eso es, precisamente, lo que hemos querido resumir en la frase: “De la Economía Industrial a la Sociedad Digital”. Después del video, les presentaré unas transparencias que son un resumen de nuestra memoria anual del año 2000, documento que les hemos entregado y donde pueden encontrar más información de detalle sobre nuestros proyectos, actividades y principales números.
