Stem-changing verbs A stem-changing verb is a verb that follows the same pattern of present tense –AR endings, but its stem changes for all but the nosotros and vosotros forms.

Also… The preposition “a” is used after ir to mean “to”. Vamos al gimnasio “a” is also used after jugar with a sport When “a” is followed by “el”, the two words combine to form “al”. Ellos juegan al básquetbol. Yo juego al tenis. Use “¿adónde?” to ask “where to”. ¿Adónde van ustedes?
