Describe tu colegio. Describe your school. Mi colegio está en Helston. Es bastante grande con unos mil setecientos alumnos. Es para alumnos de 11 a 18 años. Es un colegio mixto. Tiene muchas facilidades como por ejemplo la piscina, el polideportivo, la biblioteca y la cantina. Describe your school. My school is in Helston. It’s quite big with some 1700 pupils. It’s for pupils between 11 and 18 years old. It’s a co-educational school. It has lots of facilities, like for example the swimming pool, the sports hall, the library and the canteen.

Háblame de la rutina diaria de tu colegio. Las clases empiezan a las nueve. Hay tres clases por la mañana y dos por la tarde. Tenemos recreo a las once de la mañana. Suelo tomar algo de comer y charlo con mis amigos. Cada clase dura una hora. La hora de comer es a las doce y cuarto. Las clases terminan a las tres y diez. Tell me about your daily routine of your school Lessons start at nine. There are three lessons in the morning and two in the afternoon. We have a break at eleven o’clock in the morning, I usually eat something and char with my friends. Each lesson lasts one hour. The lunch break starts at 12.15. Lessons finish at 3.10

Describe tu uniforme escolar. Describe your school uniform. Tengo que llevar un uniforme escolar. Hay una camisa azul de manga corta, una sudadera negra con el lema del colegio, y un pantalón negro. Los zapatos son negros. A mi no me gusta nada el uniforme porque no está de moda. Describe your school uniform. I have to wear a school uniform. There’s a blue short sleeved shirt, a black sweatshirt with the school logo, and a pair of black trousers. The shoes are black. I don’t like the uniform as al because it’s not fashionable.

¿Qué asignaturas estudias? What subjects do you study? Estudio español, ingles, matemáticas, informática, ciencias y geografía. Prefiero el ingles porque es muy interesante. Se me da bien el español pero es difícil. Odio la geografía porque es aburrida y no me gusta nada el profesor. What subjects do you study? I study Spanish, English, maths, I.T, science and geography. I prefer English because it is very interesting. I’m good at Spanish but its very difficult. I hate geography because its boring and I don’t like the teacher at all.

¿Qué hiciste ayer en el colegio? What did you do yesterday in school? Ayer llegué al colegio a las nueve menos veinte. Trabajé mucho. Durante el recreo charlé con mis amigos. Después jugué al hockey Me gustó mucho porque es mi deporte favorito. Volví a casa a las tres y diez. Lo pasé bastante bien. What did you do yesterday in school? Yesterday I arrived in school at 8.40. I worked a lot. During the break I chatted to my friends. Afterwards I played hockey. I liked it a lot because its my favourite sport. I returned home at 3.10. I had quite a good time.

¿Qué planes tienes para el futuro? What are your plans for the future? Quiero dejar el colegio después de los exámenes. Voy a hacer A levels, ingles, historia y geografía. En el futuro quiero ser periodista pero primero tengo que ir a la universidad. What are your plans for the future? I want to leave school after the exams. I’m going to do my A levels, English, history and geography. In the future I want to be a journalist but first I have to go to University.
