¿Dónde pasas las vacaciones de verano normalmente? Normalmente voy a España con mi familia o paso las vacaciones en casa. Me encanta España porque siempre hace buen tiempo. Lo bueno de España es el clima y la costa preciosa. Where do you normally spend your summer holidays? Normally I go to Spain with my family or I spend the holidays at home. I love Spain because the weather is always good. The good thing about Spain is the climate and the beautiful coast.

¿Qué haces? What do you do? Voy a la playa todos los días porque me encanta tomar el sol y nadar. También suelo ir a las discotecas por la noche. Es estupendo. Lo paso muy bien. Me gusta mucho la comida española sobre todo la tortilla y la paella. What do you do? I go to the beach every day because I love sunbathing and swimming. I also usually go to discos in the evening. It’s great. I have a good time. I like Spanish food a lot especially tortilla and paella.

¿Qué hiciste el verano pasado? What did you do last summer? El verano pasado fui a Marbella con mis amigos. Me gustó muchísimo porque había mucha gente. Nos quedamos en un hotel de lujo y fuimos a un restaurante típico y comimos paella. ¡Qué bien! What did you do last summer? Last summer I went to Marbella with my friends. I liked it a lot because there were a lot people. We stayed in a luxury hotel and we went to a typical restaurant and ate paella. It was great!!

¿Qué compraste? What did you buy? Compré unas castañuelas caras para mi hermana y unas camisetas para mis padres. Me compré unas postales como recuerdos de mis vacaciones. What did you buy? I bought some expensive castanets for my sister and some t-shirts for my parents. I bought myself some postcards as souvenirs of my holidays.

Háblame de los sitios de interés que visitaste. Visité la catedral en Málaga. Fue muy interesante. Después vimos una corrida de toros en la plaza de toros en Marbella. No me gustó nada. Odio la crueldad. Lo mejor fue el mercado. Compré muchas cosas baratas allí. Tell me about the interesting places that you visited. I visited the cathedral in Malaga. It was very interesting. Afterwards we saw a bullfight in the bullring in Marbella. I didn’t like it at all. I hate cruelty. The best place was the market. I bought lots of cheap things there.

¿Qué vas hacer este verano? What are you going to do this summer? Este verano voy a ir a la Costa Verde con mi familia. Vamos a visitar Santander, un pueblo en el norte de España en la provincia de Cantabria. Tengo ganas de hacer windsurfing y vela porque me encantan los deportes acuáticos. Espero ir a los Picos de Europa también. Va a ser fenomenal! What are you going to do this summer? This summer I’m going to go to the Costa Verde with my family. We’re going to visit Santander, a port in the north of Spain, in the province of Cantabria. I fancy going windsurfing and sailing because I love water sports. I hope to go to the Picos de Europa as well. It’s going to be great!
