 Pau Gasol was born in Spain on July 6,190. His full name is Pau Gasol Saez.  At the age of 12, when he was watching the original dream team on television at his house in Spain. This was his first sight of an America NBA player.  He originally wanted to be a doctor like his father, but when an opportunity came around to be a professional player he took it without hesitation.  In his first pro season with the Memphis Grizzlies he was the first European player to be named to the “NBA Rookie of the Year”. Also named to the rookies first team.  Pau Gasol fue el primer jugador Esponol y Memphis Grizzlies para hacer que el juego de las estrellas.  Pau Gasol se comparo a Dirk Nowitzki por su rapida adoptacian a los jugodores americanos.

 He will become a Hall of Famer and will be the best big men in Lakers history.  He will also go down in history as the Memphis Grizzlies best rebounders.  Also he is one of the best international players to ever come to the NBA.  Paul Gasol was the first Spanish person to reach points in his career.  Yendo hacia abajo como uno de los mas apoyados y servicio publico person la NBA.  Icono de la gente que es Barcelona easa estado.

 In 2009 Pau Gasol finished the season with 18.9 points per game, 9.6 rebounds per game.  In Game two of the NBA Finals against the Magic he made the game tying shot to send the game to overtime.
