Direct Object Pronouns The direct object answers the question "what?" or "whom?" with regard to what the subject of the sentence is doing.

Direct Object Pronouns In an affirmative statement with one verb, the direct object pronoun comes immediately before the conjugated verb. In an affirmative statement with two verbs, the direct object pronoun can come immediately before the conjugated verb or attached to the infinitive. In a negative sentence use:no + object pronoun + verb
