What is a STEM-CHANGING VERB? A verb in which the E in the stem changes to E or IE; or the O changes to UE when you conjugate it. In what CONJUGATIONS will the stem-changes occur? It will change in all the conjugations except Nosotros & Vosotros and the YO of some irregular verbs. EXAMPLE: QUERER (IE) Yo quiero Nosotros queremos Tú quieres Vosotros queréis Él/Ella quiere Ellos/Ellas quieren Ud. Uds.
