Present Tense of regular –ar, -er, and –ir verbs

To conjugate a verb in Spanish you take off the ending, -ar, -er, -ir you are left with the stem of the verb cantar– ar = cant (the stem) comer – er = com (the stem) Vivir - ir = viv (the stem) Then you add the appropriate ending to match the subject.
