La descripción del curso – Course Description Este año vamos a estudiar varias temas y practicar varios métodos de mejorar nuestras habilidades de leer, escribir, hablar y entender español. Los estudiantes están responsable de venir a la clase, participar en las actividades y las discusiones de la clase y entregar tareas. This year we will study various themes and practice various methods of improving our abilities to read, write, speak, and understand Spanish. Students are responsible for coming to class, participating in class activities and discussions, and turning in assignments. A Letter to Parents and Guardians Dear parents and guardians, ¡Bienvenidos! Welcome back for another year at Delmar High School! I am excited to work with your son or daughter in Spanish class this school year. Learning a foreign language is a wonderful way for students to explore the world, and is a skill that can be used in whatever line of work your student chooses. This Spanish course provides an engaging curriculum for students, both cognitively and linguistically. The course will be taught almost exclusively in Spanish, and students will be required to speak primarily Spanish while in class. I highly recommend that students spend time studying and practicing outside out class, and if students want to come to me for extra help I am available everyday after school until 3:30.
