1. The infinitive form of the verb in Spanish is when… The verb ends in –ar, -er OR –ir. Ejemplo: Bailar, Comer, Vivir

5. What are stem-changing verbs? Why do they change? Stem-changing verbs are verbs that do NOT follow the same rules as other verbs because once you drop the –ar, -er OR –ir… the part left over which is the stem changes. These changes are made to keep the SOUND. Example: Jugar Yo juego – I play ◦ Yo jugo – I juice
