Gustar  Liking 1 thing– use “gusta” Me gusta el chocolate. Me gusta el espanol. Me gusta bailar.  Liking more than 1 thing—use “gustan” Me gustan los perros. Me gustan dibujar y pintar. Me gustan futbol y beisbol.

Preferencias  To show that you like something a lot, use “mucho”. Me gusta mucho la musica salsa.  To show that you prefer something more than another, use “mas” with “que”. Me gusta mas la musica hip-hop que la musica reggaeton. Me gustan mas las llamas que los caballos.

Negacion de gustar  When you don’t like something, use “no”. No me gustan los gatos.  When you despise something, use “no” with “nada”. No me gusta nada el racismo.
