Irregular Participles ► If the verb is an –er or –ir verb and its stem ends in a vowel, such as -aer, -eer, or -uir, the “i” in the participle will change to y. You can NOT have 3 vowels together! creer=creyendo construir=constuyendo leer = leyendo oir =oyendo influir =influyendo caer = cayendo
