3 EXAMPLES 1.Spanish is spoken here  Se habla español aquí. 2. Cookies are sold at the supermercado.  Se venden galletas en el supermercado.

4 Forms: Singular: se vende, se habla Plural: se venden, se hablan EXAMPLES: –Se vende el café. –Se habla español en la tienda. –Se venden los bolígrafos. –Se hablan muchos lenguajes.

5 PRACTICE: Use vender + se 1.________ el pan en la panadería. 2.________ los comestibles en el supermercado. 3.________ pescado en la pescadería. 4.________ los bolígrafos en la papelería.

7 PARTNER ACTIVITY You will be assigned a store. Make a poster for the store. You should include pictures of things that are sold there (drawn or magazine cut- outs).
