4 The Impersonal “se” In English we often use they, you, one, or people in an impersonal or indefinite sense meaning “people in general.”

5 The Impersonal “se” In Italy people eat pasta.
In Spain people speak 4 languages. We accept credit cards. (At a restaurant) We buy houses. (At a Real State agency) We speak Spanish. (Many businesses) Who does it? People in general.

6 The Impersonal “se” In Spanish we use the impersonal se when the importance is on the action, not the person.

Se venden computadoras baratas. Cheap computers are sold here.

Bread is often served with paella.
