3 To imply likes and dislikes (the verb to like does not exist in Spanish)

4 It is important to note that the grammatical word order is different when using gustar.

5 Parts of speech: Subject: performs the action of the sentence. Verb: is the action of the sentence. Direct Object: receives the action of the verb. Indirect Object: benefits from the action received by the direct object.

6 The subject of a gustar sentence is always the item(s) found pleasing.
