Here are some affirmative and negative words that you already know. Remember they are ANTONYMS.

Affirmative alguien algo alguno, alguna (pronoun) algún, alguna (adj.) siempre también

nadie nada ninguno, ninguna (pronoun) ningún, ninguna (adj.) nunca tampoco

5 Negative Constructions
Algún and ningún are always written with an accent.

6 Negative Constructions
Affirmative words usually come before the main verb of the sentence. In a question they may come after the verb.

Ella también come pan. ¿Alguien tiene una pluma? ¿Necesito algo para comer? ¿Siempre vas a la panadería?

8 Negative Constructions
Negative words may come before or after the verb. But if they come after, we must use no before the verb.

Nadie va a la reunión. No va nadie a la reunión.

10 Negative Constructions
Nunca corro. No corro nunca.

Ninguno de ellos comen verduras. No comen verduras ninguno de ellos.
