2 Present perfect is the equivalent of the helping verb “will have” plus the participle in English At the end of July, we will have visited NYC 8 times. When the movie comes out, I will have read the book. When you graduate, you will have been in school 13 years. -ED

3 You can also use the future perfect to speculate about something that happened in the past. Laura no me llamó. ¿Qué la habrá pasado? Se habrá enterado de que no ibas. Laura didn’t call me. What could have happened to her? Perhaps she found out you were not coming.

4 Future perfect is a compound verb, which means that the verb is actually made up of two words.

5 To form the present perfect tense, use the present tense of HABER and a past participle: HABER – To have + Past Participle HabréHabremos For –AR verbs: add –ADO HabrásHabréis + For –ER verbs: add –IDO HabráHabrán For –IR verbs: add –IDO
