2 H.E.A.R.T H.E.A.R.T. es el título-acrónimo de nuestro proyecto, que en inglés significa CORAZÓN. H.E.A.R.T es un proyecto que engloba la cultura y la educación, mediante el conocimiento y la comparación de las costumbres, artesanía, folclore de los países socios, buscando como metas del mismo: el desarrollo de la competencia comunicativa en inglés y el conocimiento intercultural en los participantes. H.E.A.R.T. is the title- acronym for our project, which in English means heart. HEART is a project that includes Culture and Education, through the knowledge and comparison of the customs, crafts, folk from partner countries, seeking as a final goal: the development of Communicative Competence in English and Intercultural Awareness in participants.

3 H.E.A.R.T Participar en este tipo de proyectos, nos brinda la opción de abrir una ventana a Europa, no sólo a nuestros alumnos, sino también a la comunidad educativa, la localidad. Una de las consecuencias principales es el cambio de mentalidad en los participantes en el mismo, ya que debemos de estar preparados, ser competentes y competitivos para desarrollarnos en estas nuevas relaciones europeas. Participating in these projects gives us the oportunity of opening a window on Europe, not only to our students but also to our classroom, to the Educative Community, the town we live in... One of the main consequences is the change on participants´mind and attitude, because we must be ready, competent and competitive to take these new European relations.

4 What´s H.E.A.R.T? Qué es H.E.A.R.T? It is a Grundtvig learning partnership, formed by 4 partners: Spain, Slovakia, Poland and Turkey. This will be developed over 2 years It deals with Handcrafts in Europe: Art, Roots, Treasures, including learning new techniques in the field of craftsmanship, knowledge of culture, customs, folk … of each partner country and using the development of a basic communicative competence in English as a common thread Thanks to 12 mobilities we will visit the different partner countries looking for differences and similarities between the issues outlined above. Es una asociación de aprendizaje dentro del entorno GRUNDTVIG, conformada por 4 socios: España, Eslovaquia, Polonia, Turquía que se desarrollará a lo largo de 2 años Versa sobre la artesanía en Europa: arte, rutas y tesoros, englobando el aprendizaje de nuevas técnicas en el ámbito de la artesanía, conocimiento de cultura, costumbres, folklore... de los distintos países socios usando como hilo conductor el desarrollo de una competencia básica en inglés en los participantes. Gracias a 12 movilidades que tenemos, visitaremos los distintos países socios buscando diferencias y similitudes entre los aspectos anteriormente expuestos.

6 What needs do we want to give an answer? Purposes and Objectives ¿A qué necesidades queremos dar respuestas? Propósitos y Objetivos - To allow the participants to acquire a basic communicative competence in English - To endorse intercultural learning by promoting awareness of cultural diversity, in particular in the field of handcrafts - To allow the participants to acquire further skills/techniques in handcrafts - To share good practices at European level stimulating the development of new strategies/methodologies in the field of handcrafts - To create effective didactic materials developed and based on the experience gathered in the project. Permitir a los participantes adquirir una competencia comunicativa básica en Inglés. - Apoyar el aprendizaje intercultural, fomentando la conciencia de la diversidad cultural, en particular en el campo de la artesanía. - Permitir a los participantes adquirir habilidades más /técnicas de la artesanía. - Compartir buenas prácticas a nivel europeo para estimular el desarrollo de nuevas estrategias / metodologías en el campo de la artesanía. - La creación de materiales didácticos eficaces desarrollados e n base a la experiencia adquirida en el proyecto.
