17 Supplies It is very important that you bring pencils and paper to class. Make sure and do so! Every student is required to have a binder. The binder is to contain only Spanish notes. It will be checked on a regular basis. Bringing your text book to class is unnecessary for the following reasons. -The online version is available and can be displayed on the screen. -Work sheets will be supplied that are compatible with the language from the book. -Mr. King likes a nice tidy room and likes desks to be kept clear. Please note; the language from every test that you do in class will be from the text book. Please keep this book somewhere secure and use it for study purposes. Coloring pencils or markers are recommended for this class to help with the presentation of certain projects, and for the completion of different activities. I will bring papers along with something to write with to class and will keep work organized in a binder, signed ________________________ on __________________.

19 Classwork You will be given a grade for class work once a week. To receive a grade for class work you need to show evidence that you have done all ofwhat you have been asked to do. Your evidence all work organized neatly in your binder. Effort and participation will be incorporated in your class work grade. Each time that you disrupt others, give the impression that you are not doing what is asked, 10 points will be taken off your grade for that lesson. If you sleep, you will get a 0 for that days lesson and your parents will be contacted. Bonus points will be awarded for students who show exceptional effort. If you are absent from a class, make sure to copy up your notes in order to receive a grade.

20 OPUESTOS You will be given a flash card with an adjective in Spanish. Find the person in the classroom whose adjective is opposite to yours. When you find that person. Say ENCANTADO and ask him/her the following questions EN ESPAÑOL. You may wish to write the questions down so as you dont forget them.
