3 There are three types of verb endings -AR – cantar, trabjar, hablar, ayudar -ER –comer, beber, leer, aprender -IR –vivir, abrir, escribir, asistir Verbs can be either regular or irregular.

4 Conjugating a verb: 1) Drop the –ar, -er, -ir ending 2) Add the correct ending for the subject pronoun.
