2 Direct Object Pronouns REPLACE the DO noun.
Direct Object Pronouns MUST AGREE with the noun it replaces. El libro Lo (it,masc.) La casa La (it, fem.) Los libros Los (them, m/pl) Las casas Las (them, f/pl)

3 Direct Object Pronouns REPLACE the DO noun
and go in FRONT of the conjugated verb. ¿Lo lees? ¿Lees el libro?  ¿La lees? ¿Lees la revista? ¿ Lees los libros? No, no los leo. ¿Lees las revistas?Sí, yo las leo.

4 Le and les can refer to both masculine and feminine nouns
Le and les can refer to both masculine and feminine nouns. The Indirect Object Pronoun is required. The IO noun phrase is not. A ella/A Ana NOTE: The noun phrase starts with the preposition “A” le A él / A José le A ellos les les A ellas

6 The IO pronouns MUST BE USED with the noun phrases!

23 Change these to include double object pronouns
Change these to include double object pronouns. Write the given sentence and the changed sentence. Yo te ofrezco café. Ellos nos prestan dinero. Te compramos una pelota de básquetbol. Tú me dices la verdad. Él me trae flores para mi cumpleaños.

24 Change these to include double object pronouns:
Yo le doy mi tarea a mi profesora. Tú les prestas dinero a tus amigos. Ellos le dan una sorpresa a su mamá. Nosotros le enseñamos las fotos a Uds. Ellas le escriben una carta al chico guapo.

25 Pronoun placement: In front of a conjugated verb.
Attached to an infinitive (-AR,-ER,-IR) Attached to a present participle (-ANDO, -IENDO)

26 Pronoun placement with 2 pronouns is the same, but remember that both pronouns must stay next to each other and the indirect comes before the direct (people are more important than things!).

27 ALSO: When 2 pronouns are attached to the end of an infinitive (-ar,-er,-ir) or a present participle (ando,iendo), you will need to add an accent on the vowel of (ár,ér,ír) and (ándo, iéndo). EX: Necesito dártelo Estamos comprándotelo.

28 Write the pronouns in a different place (if possible).
Necesito dársela a mi profesora. Ella se lo va a prestar mañana. Ellos están comprándomelo ahora. Se la puedes llevar a ellos. Nosotros te los ofrecemos. Yo se lo quiero vender a él.
