2 Yo te escribí la carta. Yo te la escribí. Tú me ofreces el caramelo. Tú me lo ofreces. Nosotros te pedimos los favores. Nosotros te los pedimos. Práctica

3 When you have 2 verbs, you have 2 options. The pronouns may come before the conjugated verb or attached to the infinitive / gerund. Ejemplo: David me va a dar un regalo. David is going to give me a gift. David me lo va a dar. David is going to give me it. OR David va a dármelo.

4 Otro Ejemplo: Yo te estoy mandando la información. I am sending you the information. Yo te la estoy mandando. I am sending you it. OR Yo estoy mandándotela.

5 1. Always keep double object pronouns together. 2. Always place before conjugated verb or attached to infinitive or gerund. 3. When le / les come before a lo, la, las, los change the INDIRECT to “se”. Yo le pedí una servilleta al mesero. Yo le la pedí = Yo se la pedí. X Important!!

6 Yo le escribí la carta a Juanita. Yo se la escribí (a Juanita) Nosotros les ofrecemos los carmelos a Uds. Nosotros se los ofrecemos (a Uds.) Miguel le va a mandar un regalo al chico Miguel se lo va a mandar / va a mandárselo (al chico) Práctica

7 Note: There is an accent mark when you attach the two pronouns to the end of the infinitive or to a gerund. The accent mark goes on what ever syllable is stressed when the infinitive or the gerund stands alone. Examples: Uds. necesitan explicármelo. Vamos a devolvérselas. Están preguntándomela.

8 Practica. Pon el accento en la sílaba correcta. 1. Tenemos que decirtelo. 2. Van a traermela. 3. Acaban de mandarselos. 4. Están pidiendotelas. 5. No estás explicandomela. 6. Voy a darselo.

9 Yo te escribí un email a ti. ¿Cuál es el objeto directo? ¿Cuál es el objeto indirecto?

10 Otro Ejemplo: Sebastian gave me the necklace. Sebastian me dio el collar (a mí). Sebastian gave me it. Sabastian me lo dio.
