3 Jai- Alai es un deporte de pelota que originó en la región vasca de España. El País Vasco

4 Jai-Alai ha sido jugado por cientos de años en las montañas de los Pirineos. Era una parte de fiestas y celebraciones.

8 Jai-alai es un partido muy rápido, y la pelota puede mover más rápido de 180 millas por hora. Los jugadores o peloteros usan una cesta que es 63 – 70 cm de largo.

9 La pelota es la pelota más dura de todos los deportes. Es ¾ el tamaño de una pelota de beísbol y es más dura que una piedra. Está hecho a mano con rubber de Brasil y tiene dos layers de piel de cabra. 11 The Serve The game is started by serving the ball. The server must bounce the ball behind the serving line, and hurl the ballwith the cesta directly to the front wall so that upon rebound, it will bounce between lines No. 4 and 7. If it does not, it is an under or over serve and the opposing team will receive the point.

12 The ball must be caught on the fly or on the first bounce.Also, the ball must be caught and thrown in "one fluid motion". The judges will rule juggling if the ball "pops up" or if it is held for "more than the required time".

13 All three walls of the court are in play - with the red denoting out-of-bounds. In "Spectacular Seven" scoring, the point value is 1 until each team has played once and thereafter, the point value is doubled.
