2 PAST SIMPLE / PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE
El Past Simple se usa para: Expresar hechos pasados terminados y contar historias. She lived in London. Expresar acciones ocurridas en un momento concreto del pasado. I changed school in 2003.

3 PAST SIMPLE / PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE
El Past Simple se utiliza con: “when” Expresiones temporales: yesterday, last night, last week, at two o’clock, on Saturday, in 1998, a month ago,…

4 PAST SIMPLE / PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE
El Present Perfect Simple se usa para: Acciones que empezaron en el pasado y aún continúan; lleva “for” y “since” y se traduce en presente. They have been friends since childhood. Acciones pasadas con resultado visible en el presente. Paul has dyed his hair.

5 PAST SIMPLE / PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE
El Present Perfect Simple se usa para: Acciones pasadas sin decir cuándo han ocurrido. I have been to Quito once. Acciones muy recientes.Lleva “just” y se traduce por “acabar de…+ infinitivo”. We have just arrived.

6 Past Simple / Present Perfect Simple
El Present Perfect Simple se utiliza con: Adverbios de tiempo: ever, never, already, just, yet. Preposiciones: for, since.

7 PAST SIMPLE / PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE
El Past Simple indica cuándo ocurrió la acción. Habla de acciones pasadas que ya no afectan al momento actual. They went to Scotland last month. El Present Perfect Simple no indica cuándo ocurrió la acción. Indica que lo ocurrido en el pasado guarda relación con el presente. They have already been to Scotland twice.
