Suggestions for use: After students have chosen their characteristics, have them get together with a partner. Their partner should try to guess the traits that best and least describe him/her.

4 Para y piensa # 12 Match each description of what the person likes to do with the correct personality trait. Not all traits will be used. 1. Liliana es simpática, pero no le gusta conversar con otras personas. 2. A Juan no le gusta trabajar. 3. Mi mamá siempre tiene tiempo para escuchar mis problemas y hablar de soluciones. 4. 5 Gramática: Formation of present indicative (–ar verbs)
Take the infinitive: bailar Remove the –ar ending: bail- Add the appropriate ending: To talk about what you don’t do, use no before the verb: No trabajo los domingos. Remember: subject pronouns are not always needed in Spanish. Use them to clarify, add emphasis, or contrast.

6 Gramática: dejar de + infinitive and acabar de + infinitive
Use dejar de + infinitive to talk about stopping an action. Note that the verb after de is never conjugated. Dejas de estudiar en diciembre, ¿no? Sí, dejo de estudiar y regreso a casa. Use acabar de + infinitive to talk about what someone has just done. Note that the verb after de is never conjugated. ¿Tienes computadora? Sí, acabo de comprar una Mac.
