7 Helping Verb Now you need a helping verb to go with your past participles. What we use is the present tense of the verb “haber.” he habladohemos hablado has habladohabéis hablado ha habladohan hablado Use these verb forms with all your past participles: he comido, has querido, ha vuelto, hemos trabajado, etc.

9 What does this have to do with the subjunctive? We can use the perfect tense in a subjunctive sentence to show that something has already happened. IE: Yo dudo que Uds. hayan comido una pizza entera. Mateo espera que su familia ya haya salido del hotel.

10 Like in the present perfect, we will use the verb “HABER.” This time though, it will be in the subjunctive. HABER Yo Nosotros Tu------------- ElEllos HAYA HAYAS HAYA HAYAMOS HAYAN

12 So, we will end up with sentences that look like this. 1.Yo no creo que Ana haya escalado las rocas. 2.Nosotros no pensamos que tu hayas estudiado mucho para el examen. 3.Es probable que yo haya sacado buenas notas. 4.Tu esperas que Anita no haya salido para Japón.

13 The same subjunctive rules apply. Should these sentences use subjuctive or not? 1.A mi me gusta que Pedro (ha/haya) viajado mucho. 2.Es cierto que los chicos (han/hayan) comido toda la comida. 3.Es importante que Marcos y Guillermo (han/hayan) comprado un pasaporte. 4.Yo dudo que Margarita (ha/haya) jugado al beisbol. 5.Ana piensa que nosotros (hemos/hayamos) perdido tres partidos.
